We use better lasers for better hair removal.

We aim a concentrated beam at unwanted hair. The light is absorbed by the pigment, which damages the follicle enough to permanently prevent future hair growth without damaging the surrounding skin. Unlike commonly used weaker lasers or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) devices that can’t affect unwanted hair at the root, our GentleMax Pro True Laser Class IV is the strongest class of product approved by the FDA. It uses wavelengths – adjusted for your particular skin type – that are clinically proven to be most effective at safely, comfortably and permanently removing hair from all skin types.

We go to great lengths to keep you cool and comfortable during treatment.

The majority of our clients find laser hair removal more comfortable than waxing. We use a patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) to make the procedure as comfortable as it is effective. The DCD prepares the skin for treatment with a cooling burst of cryogen applied milliseconds before each pulse. This cooling application minimizes discomfort continuously throughout the treatment session. For maximum comfort, we can also prescribe you with a topical anesthetic numbing cream if you feel you need additional protection.

You should shave the treatment area 24 to 48 hours prior to treatment. The specialist performing your treatment will adjust the GentleMax Pro True Laser based on your skin type and the thickness, color and location of hair. You will wear eye protection and a special cooling spray will be emitted to protect the skin while making your treatment more comfortable and effective. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour. When the procedure is completed, you may be given an ice pack and anti-inflammatory cream to ease any discomfort and minimize redness. You may schedule your next treatment a minimum of 10 weeks later. Most patients need 5 to 10 treatments for permanent removal, but you’ll begin to see results after your first visit. Your part of the removal process is small but important.

Stop plucking, waxing and/or bleaching for six weeks before treatment. You may shave as often as you’d like leading up to your treatment date. Avoid sun exposure in the treatment area for a minimum of two weeks before and after treatment whenever possible. The affected area may have a mild redness that usually disappears within 24 hours. Cool compresses and moisturizers may help. If your face was treated, you can usually wear makeup the next day. Over the next month, your treated hair will fall out. Wear sunscreen for the following month.
